Weekend in Pics

So I made a German Chocolate Cake. I have not made a cake in years. I've done banana breads but not cakes in a while. It was a lot of fun. Here's another view.

Continuing in food mood, I also made porgies with boiled plantains and fungi

Jets lost to Jags 23-20

Update 9/27/05: Chad Pennington is out for the rest of the season due to his retorn right rotator cuff. Personally, he should of not return until it was completely healed. I won't say how the rest of the season looks to jinks us. LET'S PRAY!!!

Giants lost to SD Chargers 45-23

Good Game. Patriots won over Pittsburgh both are (2-1) 23-20

The Edge written by David Mamet. Its came out in 97' but I didn't know David Mamet wrote it. That makes me admire his work even more, plus it was a good movie.
synopsis: Stranded in the rugged Alaskan wilderness, an aging billionaire and his younger romantic rival battles a hungry bear--and each other. They were fighting over a woman when the plane went down, and now stranded and unequipped by a plane crash in the dangerous wilderness, . Their only chance for survival is each other. A fight for survival ensues in this powerful drama featuring "the most frightening and credible human-animal fights ever put onscreen"

I'm fascinated with medicine and surgery. So I was watching TLC and they had a show called Body Shock. The name of the episode was Born with Two Heads. It was a story about how a neurosurgeon performed surgery on a baby with two head. They said that the parasitic twin could suckle and feel, but was brain dead. They tried to save the parasitic twin but was unsuccessful. So after that they focused their attention to detaching the head. I thought the story was very scary and that kind of experience must of been horrific for the Muslim parents. Its amazing the challenges God gives us. I didn't get a chance to take any good images but this one, which shows were the brains are attached. After surgery, the baby suffered convulsion, but in the end things turned out for the positive....Amen to that.

"IN MY DEFENSE"

Okay, there are 2 reason for the pic of the 1/2 eaten cake.
1) That was the only way to see the filling (good save)
2) Give me a break, I wasn't thinking of taking a pic before I cut into it, over and over again.
Now since you've brought this to my attention, I do have to laugh at myself, because I really wasn't thinking, "don't take a pic of a 1/2 eaten cake and post it on your blog". That's what I get for trying to share....lol

TLC is cheap and their not like other networks that post pictures of their shows. So I had to resort to the use of my camara phone which I need to learn how to operate.

Okay guys, laughter was not what I was going for, but I'll take it.
